- We choose cement companies that provide us with their environmental product declaration (EPD) to enable us to know the environmental impact of cement and make more informed choices
- We purchase pulp with FSC certification, which ensures that the entire wood-paper supply chain meets its standards and is derived from environmentally friendly, socially beneficial and economically sustainable forest management
- We buy products that state the percentage of recycled material used, because we believe that an environmentally sustainable future is through a circular economy

Impacts of production processes
- We develop the environmental product declaration (EPD) in accordance with ISO 14025:2006 for our flat sheets, because we want our customers to be able to compare and choose products based also on environmental criteria and with a sustainable approach;
- We invest in research and development to find innovative solutions that allow us to increase the percentage of recycled or recovered materials within our sheets, while guaranteeing the technical and mechanical characteristics required by product-specific regulations.
Consumption of natural resources
- We recover 100 percent of our process wastewater by minimizing replenishment through our wells, because we consider water a key element in ensuring a sustainable future for the next generation;
- We purchase energy from a cogeneration plant installed at our plant, reducing fossil fuel consumption and optimizing the production of electricity and steam
- We seek suppliers located in our geographic area (northern Italy), because we believe that reducing the environmental impacts of transportation is a key factor in reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere
